The back of this print is annotated JASPER COLORADO ROCKIES in pencil, but nothing in the photograph is recognisable as Jasper. The valley, the skyline and the way the cabins sit on the slope do not match the ground here. An annotation written on the back of a photograph is a caption, not a record, and it is worth no more than whoever wrote it knew.
One possibility, and it is only that, is Gilmore. Gilmore was a town about eight miles west of Jasper, near what is now the Stunner campground, and nothing of it is left. That identification is unverified. Nobody has matched the skyline in this photograph against the ground at Gilmore or anywhere else, and until somebody does, this record does not claim to know where it was taken.
